- The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Panama City (NSWC-PC) intends to issue a sole source purchase order to ObjectsVideo of Reston, Virginia for the upgrade of ObjectVideos VEW Maritime Project at the Naval Support Activity Panama City (NSA-PC) and installation of a similar VEW Maritime Product system at the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC), Dahlgren, Virginia. This purchase is unsuitable for full and open competition for the following reasons: ObjectsVideo has proprietary rights in the operation and use of its VEW Maritime products. ObjectsVideo is the sole developer of this developmental equipment and has the unique capabilities, knowledge and dedicated equipment necessary to provide the services and materials necessary to support the NAVFAC AT/FP Ashore Prototype Demonstration. Award will be based on the written request for quotation. Anticipated award date will be on or about 2 Sep 08.
