- This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 of the FAR, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ), number ESQ080062. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquistion Circular 2005-25. This solicitation is set-aside for Small Business concerns, under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 333315. The Small Business Size Standard is under Five-Hundred (500) employees. Materials must be domestic. The following are the bid schedule items:Line Item: 0001 Floor-Type Reader Printer, Comparable to Minolta RP609Z (Brand Name or Equal): One (1) EachLine Item: 0002 Trade-in Allowance/Disposal/Recycling Service: One (1) Each The following salient features apply: LINE ITEM 0001:Dry copying on plain paper and vellum, Automatic and Manual exposure control, Automatic feeding from Two (2) rolls and Manual Feeding.Types of Film: Microfiche, Jackets, Aperture Cards, 16 MM, and 35 MM roll film.Copy Sizes: 18 inches x 24 inches, 11 inches x 17 inches, and 8.5 inches x 11 inches.Screen Size: 18 inches x 24 inches. LINE ITEM 0002Trade-in Allowance, or Disposal and/or Recycling Service for current unit.Minolta RP 609ZSerial # 360608Property # 0393178 PLEASE QUOTE FOB DESTINATION SHIPPINGDelivery Date: Thirty (30) Days ARO or Sooner.All items furnished under this contract shall be handled in such a manner to protect them from any damage while in the possession of the Contractor. The Contractor shall pack the items for delivery consistent with standard commercial practices to ensure carrier acceptance and to provide adequate protection from shipping damage or loss during transit to the contract designated destination point. The Contractor shall be responsible for any damage or loss caused by improper packaging and any damage or loss while in transit. Award will be made to the lowest responsive, responsible quoter that is most advantageous to the government. The provision at 52.212-01, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items is applicable. The provision at 52.212-02, Evaluation-Commercial Items is applicable, and the following shall be included in paragraph (a) of this provision. Evaluation factors will be based on price. QUOTERS SHALL FOLLOW INSTRUCTION IN THE PROVISION AT 52.212-03, OFFEROR REPRESENTATION AND CERTIFICATIONS-COMMERCIAL ITEMS, AND PRINT COMPLETE AND SUBMIT THIS CLAUSE WITH IT'S OFFER. The clause 52.212-04, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, is applicable. Prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) prior to award. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror ineligible for award. Information on CCR registration can be obtained via the internet at http://www.ccr.gov. Prospective vendors shall complete their annual Representations and Certifications (ORCA) electronically at http://orcs.bpn.gov. Quoters must submit FAR 52.212-03, Offerors Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items, wtih their quote.
