- The U.S. Department of Commerce, Bureau of Census intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Redwood Software, Inc., Morrisville, NC. This requirement is being advertised under Other Than Full and open Competition by the authority of the Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 6, Subparts 6.301 and 6.302. Redwood Software, Inc. shall provide the following: Cronacle Upgrade Services Version 7 Qty. 10; Cronacle Licensese (process Servers(production environment)) Qty. 6. The period of performance is date of award through March 31, 2009. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the government. In doing so, interested sources must submit pricing and business information that demonstrates their ability to meet the Census Bureaus's needs. Submissions shall be sent via email to lisa.r.safewright@census.gov, or faxed to 301-763-4149. This notice is not to be considered a request for quotations or proposals. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice, but offers will be used to determine if a comparable source is available and more advantageous to the government. If no affirmative written response is received within 15 days from the publication of this synopsis, a contract may be issued to Redwood Software, Inc. Without further notice.
