- The U.S. Army Contracting Agency, Director of Contracting, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD intends to negotiate solely (as prescribed in FAR 6.302-1) with SKC Inc., 863 Valley View Road, Eighty Four, PA 15330-8619. The contractor shall provide DCS Sampling System, DCS Mass Flow Controller, and Impact Calibration Adapter. The SKC Inc., is the sole manufacture of the DCS, DVS and DPS sampling systems which are necessary to meet the mission of conducting environmental surveillance for military deployments. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 334511 and the size standard is 750. Interested persons may identify their interest in writing, to the Government point of contact. Responses to this notice must be received no later than 10:00 a.m. Eastern Standard Time, August 27, 2008. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals or a solicitation of offers.
