- SETASIDE: Total Small Business FAQ080148 NOTICE TEXT: Department of the Interior Bureau of Land Management. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation from the Bureau of Land Management-Nevada State office to labor, equipment, and materials, to construct and associated gates, panels, and drainage crossings with specified Government-furnished property. The location of the work is in Elko County, NV. The work consists of constructing approximately 9.2 miles of livestock fence in accordance with attached scedule of items, specifications, terms and conditions, drawings, maps etc contained within the solicitation. There is a site visit scheduled September 3, 2008 at 08:00 am PDT. Please contact Jim Harmening at 775-775-753-0373. Site location is found within the solicitation. Please visit with Jim Harmening for the site visit no later than 4PM on Tuesday, September 2nd, 2008. Project is estimated to be begin approximately September 10, 2008 and be completed by October 10, 2008. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is FAQ080148 and is issued as a Request for Quotes (RFQ). RFQ FAQ080148 may be viewed thru a link to the National Business Center Interior Electronic Acquisition System-Electronic Commerce at "http://www.fedbizopps.gov" or "http://www.nbc.gov". For assistance in downloading information from the National Business Center contact the helpdesk at (703) 390-6633. No further notice will be posted on Fedbizopps. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-25. This is a Set Aside for Small Business. The NAICS is 238990. The small business size standard is $14.0 million. This will be a "best value" procurement with award based on past performance with similar work over the last three years, written work plan indicating precisely how work will be accomplish, including qualifications of key personnel and site supervision; and price. Past performance and technical approach when combined, are relatively more important than price.
