- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement F3G1KA8221A001 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-26. The NAICS for this solicitation is 339999. The size standard for a small business under this NAICS code is 500 employees. This is a commercial request for Life Support Equipment. Salient characteristics are as follows: CLIN 0001: Multifunction tester capable of testing lithium and alkaline batteries. Also capable of testing distress lighting markers/beacons CLIN 0002: Night Vision Goggle enclosed testing tent- Enclosable on all sides with Velcro fasteners and 0 light penetration capability.
