- Modification: This action originally publicized, dated Aug 04, 2008, and changed Aug 05, 2008, is not an unrestricted procurement. The procurement is changed by this modification to a HUBZONE SET-ASIDE PROCURMENT RESTRICTED TO HUBZONE SMALL BUSINESS CONCERNS. The work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials and equipment, and constructing bank paving and stonefill dikes on the Black River in Concordia Parish, Louisiana. Principal features of work include mobilization and demobilization, clearing and grubbing, excavation and grading, approximately 1,275 linear feet of bank paving and stonefill dikes, erosion control, storm water pollution prevention and environmental protection. The value of the proposed work is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. Plans and specifications will be available on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) Web Page at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Bidders may register on the Interested Vendors List (IVL) at http://www.fbo.gov/ and retrieve an IVL from the same location. Compact disc and hardcopies will not be available. Bidders should check often for changes (AMENDMENTS). Issue date on or about August 22, 2008. Bid opening date on or about September 23, 2008. Funds are not presently available for this acquisition as well as Rights-of-Way to proceed with constriction are not available; therefore, bids will not be opened and contract award will not be made until all necessary funding and rights-of-way are available.
