- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New England District, is issuing this Sources Sought announcement for the emergency repair of four (4) security gates in Concord, Massachusetts. The work consists of fabricating all of the bushings and pins (three pins and six bushings in each gate) and installing them in the gates. The gates were manufactured by INTERTEX Barriers and Booths Inc of Valencia, CA and installed in the summer of 2002. It appears that this company is no longer in business and there are no spare parts available, hence the need to manufacture these parts. The NAICS code for this procurement is 333999 with a small business standard of 500 employees. The estimated project cost is under $25,000. Responses are due no later than 8 September 2008 and should be addressed to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New England District, 696 Virginia Road, Concord, MA 01742, ATTN: Mr. Norman Krause. The Government will not pay for any materials provided in response to this market survey nor return the data provided. This is not a request to be placed on a solicitation mailing list nor is it a Request for Quotations (RFQ) or an announcement of a solicitation.
