- The Social Security Administration (SSA) has a requirement to purchase the following equipment to support its cell phone antenna system: 96 each Andrew omni-directional (tri-band) with N-female jumper (L4PNF-RC) (Multi-brand is also acceptable); 20,000 each linear feet of ½” Plenum Air Dielectric 50 Ohm Coax Cable (Connectors/tools for connection of section needed); 116 each connectors, Silver Plated N-Female Ring Flare ½” Cable; 116 each connectors, Silver Plated N-Male Ring Flare ½” Cable; 1 each Power plenum strip tool (LMR 600 Tool); 40 each 2-way splitter, 700-2700 MHZ 5 W, 0.3 Loss, 20 dB isolation, N-F (Dx-64FN 2,3 &4 way in line Wilkinson Dividers Low Loss, 800-2500 MHz); 8 each 1-Watt N-Male 50 Ohm Termination load; 184 each RG 142, Plenum, N-Male to N-Male 2 Ft;3 pk of 12, SMF SC/APC pigtails 2M w/no jacket, simplex; 30 each SMF SC/APC pigtails 2M w/3mm jacket, duplex; 30 each SMF 2M, 2-std, SCAPC/SCAPC duplex; 14000 each linear feet SMF 6-strand, Plenum Tight Buffer Cabling; 15 each 1 wall box w/6 port splice tray; 1 each 6-8 Panels SC/APC adapters, 2-24 port splice trays, holds 48 fibers; 2 Panduit for 19” rack (1500 series wiremold, overfloor raceway); 1 each Rack- 86”X19”, cable management rack, 15A 9-outlet power strip, one shelf includes- 2 post (84’’ is acceptable); 2 each Flush mount Cantilevered Vented Shelf for 19” Rack 18” Depth; 1 each Multiple Outlet Power Strip; 1 pk Rack screws, 12-24 x ½” 100 pack; 2 each BTR-07 Rechargeable battery for FSM-11, 80 splice/heating cycles; 6 each MCPT-L4 SGA PN 481156; 20 pk SKU 496429. This list may not be all inclusive. A complete listing will be provided with the solicitation. Offerors are notified that the acquisition is subject to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13. Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code for this requirement is 423610. The size standard in number of employees is 500. Potential contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award of any contract. This is a restricted requirement set aside for small business. It is anticipated that Solicitation Number SSA-RFQ-08-1877 will be available for release on or about August 25, 2008. The solicitation and any related documents for this acquisition will be made available to interested parties through electronic media for downloading via the internet at Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. No paper copies of the solicitation will be available. Potential offerors shall be responsible for monitoring the internet site for release of the solicitation, amendments (if any), and responses to any questions submitted in accordance with the solicitation provision.
