Description: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial supplies prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will NOT be issued. This is a Request For Quote (RFQ) and the solicitation number is F2VUHQ8203A001. The 6th Contracting Squadron, MacDill AFB, Florida, requires the following items: brand name Sigma Tandem Parachute Systems. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-26, DFAR DCN 20080812 and AFFAR AFAC 2008-0605. The North American Industry Classification System code (NAICS) is 314999, All Other Miscellaneous Textile Product Mills. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 2399. A firm fixed price purchase order will be awarded. DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT: Item 1 - Main Canopy (Gold with Black USSOCOM Logo) - Part Number SG-370 - Quantity - 2 EA Item 2 - Reserve Canopy (Yellow) - Part Number VR-360 - Quantity - 2 EA Item 3 - Sigma Harness/Container (Black container with gold USSOCOM lettering)- Quantity - 2 EA Item 4 - Custom USSOCOM Logo (See Attachment) - Quantity - 2 EA Item 5 - Tandem Automatic Activation Device - Quantity - 2 EA Item 6 - Rigging Services Full Assembly and Pack - Quantity - 2 EA DELIVERY ADDRESS: Items are to be procured on behalf of USSOCOM, MacDill AFB (Tampa), FL 33621.
