- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation N00189-08-Q-P413 is issued as a Request for Quote. Ashby Cross brand name mandatory.1 each Ashby Cross Series 2500 Double-Acting Meter, Mix and Dispense System to handle 1102 United Resins material for cartridge filling equipment. To include: Metering Assembly, No-Purge Dispense/Mixer Assembly, Resin Feed Assembly, Hardener Feed Assembly, Pneumatic low level alarms on the feed pumps. Entire metering and feed assemblies mounted on a cart with heavy-duty tube steel for lifting with a forklift. Instructions and drawings 1 each Ashby Cross Series 2500 Double-Acting Meter, Mix and Dispense System to handle PR-944 Polysulfide material for cartridge filling equipment. To include:Metering Assembly, No-Purge Dispense/Mixer Assembly, Resin Feed Assembly, Hardener Feed Assembly, Pneumatic low level alarms on the feed pumps. Entire metering and feed assemblies mounted on a cart with heavy-duty tube steel for lifting with a forklift. Instructions and drawings Delivery to Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Kittery, ME 03904. FOB Destination. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-26. The NAICS code is 333913 and the small business size standard is 500. This is NOT a small business set-aside. The provisions at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial, apply to this acquisition. Offerors are requested to include a completed copy of the provisions at 52.212-3 and 252.212-7000, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items, with proposals. The following clauses/provisions also apply to this acquisition: 52.212-4, 52.212-5 (including 52.203-6, 52.219-4, 52.219-8, 52.222-19, 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, 52.222-39, 52.225-3, 52.225-13, and 52.232-33). (Note: Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) text is available at http://www.arnet.gov/far.) Quotes shall include the vendors cage code, DUNs number and TIN (taxpayer identification number). Quotes shall be on company letterhead in company format and may be e-mailed to sheryl.a.martin@navy.mil. An original signed copy must also be mailed to Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Contracting Division, Bldg. 153, 6th Floor, Code 530.SM, Portsmouth, NH 03801-2590. Quotes are due no later than August 29, 2008 at 3:30 PM Local time. Award shall be made to the lowest priced, responsive, responsible offeror.
