- Description
- The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center, Puget Sound (FISCPS) is soliciting for the following items described in support of Commander Fleet and Industrial Supply Centers (COMFISCS) in Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP). Commander Fleet and Industrial Supply Centers (COMFISCS) requires for a Turn-Key portable, self-contained, CART MOUNTED AIRLESS PAINT SPRAY PUMP. The projected quantity is 22. This is classified as a commercial acquisition. All materials and parts comprising the system shall be new, of current design and manufacture, and shall not have been in prior service except as required for factory testing. Standard, off the shelf components with proven reliability shall be used wherever possible to increase performance reliability and reduce costs. The equipment shall be one of the manufacturers current production models which, on the day this solicitation is issued, has been designed, engineered and sold, or is being offered for sale through advertisements or manufacturers published catalogs or brochures. Products such as a prototype unit, pre-production model, or experimental unit DO NOT qualify as meeting this requirement. The equipment shall be complete, so that when connected to the utilities identified herein, it can be used for the function for which it is designed and constructed. The place of performance will be FISC Puget Sound This acquisition will be conducted as a small business set-aside utilizing the procedures of FAR Part 13.5. The period of performance will begin approximately October 2008. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. The solicitation will be issued on or about 3 September 2008. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal or quotation which shall be considered by FISCPS. This solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the NECO website: http://www.neco.navy.mil. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and for frequently monitoring that site for any amendments. The Government is not responsible for any inability of the offeror to access the posted documents. No telephone or FAX requests will be accepted, and no hard-copy solicitation/amendment will be mailed or FAXed. Electronic submission of proposals/quotes is acceptable. NOTE: FUNDS ARE CURRENTLY NOT AVAILABLE FOR THIS REQUIREMENT. IF THE CONTRACTING OFFICER DOES NOT OBTAIN FUNDING BY 30 SEPTEMBER 2008, THE SOLICITATION WILL BE CANCELLED. OFFERED PRICING MUST REMAIN VALID UNTIL 1 OCTOBER 2008.
