- Description
- The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is considering entering into an agreement with HORIBA JOBIN YVON, Inc. for a service maintenance agreement to a JY Ultima 2 Inductively Coupled Plasma-Atomic Emission Spectrometer (ICP-AES). HORIBA JOBIN YVON, Inc. is the manufacturer of this instrument. The service maintenance agreement is for location USEPA/ORD/NHEERL/Atlantic Ecology Division, 27 Tarzwell Drive, Narragansett, RI. The period of performance will be for one (1) year. The EPA believes that HORIBA JOBIN YVON, Inc. is the only service provider capable of providing all maintenance support, authorized factory replacement parts, and factory trained service engineers for this instrument. Additionally, references must be provided supporting actual ability to provide maintenance service performed. Any parties disagreeing with the above mentioned statement and can provide documentation supporting the above should notify the listed Point of Contact. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received by the closing date will considered by the Government. A determination not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses shall be sent to or emailed to the following Point of Contact: US Environmental Protection Agency/ORD/NHEERL/Atlantic Ecology Division, 27 Tarzwell Drive, Narragansett, RI 02882-1153 or reslock.glennis@epa.gov. No telephonic or faxed requests will be honored.
