- The Library of Congress will provide a walk through of the area on Wednesday, August 27 at 9:30am to 10:30am to show the stacks, where the collections are and the potential area(s) where the work will take place. Please note that the final housing material, such as customized corrugated acid free boxes are not available to see. They are being manufactured. The other housing materials, such as document storage boxes, paper folders, archival folders and polyester enclosures are standard preservation supplies that may reviewed in standard preservation supply catalogs. The walk-through will begin at the following location: The Library of Congress Jefferson Building, Collections, Access, Loan and Management (CALM) Division Main Office, Room LJ-G02, 101 Independence Avenue, SE Washington, DC 20540-4630 You must provide the names of the people attending the walk-through to jfitts@loc.gov no later than 4pm on Monday 8/25/08. The participants will need to be escorted through certain areas. If you have any questions, please provide them in writing to the email address referenced above.
