Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is for a 100% small business set-aside. The Request for Quotes (RFQ) is for a Firm Fixed Price contract, to procure maintenance services for a liquid chromatograph/mass spectrometer instrument. (II) Submit written quotes on RFQ number F1J4AP8191AQ01. (III) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-26. (IV) This procurement is 100% small business set-aside. The associated NAICS code is 811219. The small business size standard is $6,500,000.00. (V) This combined solicitation/synopsis is to purchase the following commercial services: The service provider shall provide annual maintenance for the Liquid Chromatograph/Mass spectrometer (LC/MS) to include coverage for parts, labor, and travel for remedial repair. The service provider shall guarantee a priority response time of 2 business days after receipt of a service call. The service provider shall provide two (2) preventive maintenance visits for the Q Trap and Peak Generator and one (1) preventive maintenance visit for the binary pump. The service provider shall provide priority telephone and email access to technical support. The period of performance will be for twelve months, 11 September 2008 through 10 September 2009. The following is a breakout of the different components that will require maintenance: CLIN 0001: 3200 Q Trap Maintenance (11 Sep 08 - 10 Sep 09) CLIN 0002: Peak generator NM20ZA maintenance (11 Sep 08 - 10 Sep 09) CLIN 0003: Agilent 1100 Binary pump maintenance (11 Sep 08 - 10 Sep 09) (VI) Brief description of requirement as follows; see attached Performance Work Statement: (VII) Place of performance is located at the Air Force Drug Testing Laboratory (AFDTL), 2730 Louis Bauer Drive, STE 930, Brooks City-Base, Texas 78235-5132.
