- Sole Source Notice of Contract Action. The Army National Guard has a requirement to add Sprint's RDS ERT GoKits to its GuardNet XXI contract for which Sprint is the incumbent. The ERT GoKit is a trademarked item for Sprint and is designed to integrate with the utilities provided by the incumbent contract. An equivalent service/product would not integrate with ARNG's current non-mobile communications utilities as provided by Sprint. This notice is being issued by Acquisition Services Directorate under the franchise authority of the Department of the Interior on behalf of ARNG in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The Government intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Sprint for this requirement in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b). This is not a request for competitive proposals.
