- The synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is a single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access the information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren, Virginia, 22448-5l00, plans to procure on a sole source basis, High Pressure Laminated Flooring Panels, size 24 inches x 24 inches, with Nevamar finish (sizes provided) onto treated particle board (woodcore) wrapped in steel, in the part numbers, sizes, thicknesses, and colors as described: P/N ST2-2 Beige Starlite 1/8 HPL (high pressure laminate) tile with brown trim, 24 x 24 onto 1-1/8 particle board woodcore wrapped in steel, 270 pieces; P/N ST6-1 Gray Starlite l/16 HPL tiles with black trim, 24 x 24 onto 1-1/8 particle board woodcore, 300 pieces; Mod 50 style ST6-1 refurbished Gray Starlite 1/16 HPL tiles with black trim, 24 x 24, onto 1-3/8 particle board woodcore panels, 100 pieces; freight to deliver to zip code 23337-5000 (Wallops Island, VA). The basis for the sole source is that Tate Access Floors (and its authorized distributors) have exclusive rights to the Nevamar finishes which are required for these flooring panels. These panels are used for easy access to underfloor computer cabling, electrical management systems, fiber optic cabling and HVAC piping. They are static dissipative for computer environments and meet or exceed National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA), American National Standard Institute (ANSI), and National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards. In addition, they are durable, impact resistant and easy to maintain, while allowing flexibility to rearrange equipment as necessary with little or no effort.
