- Description
- The Contracting Center of Excellence (CCE) on behalf of the Office of the USA Inspector General Agency (SAIG-IR) intends to award a sole source purchase order to Hewlett Packard, Bethesda, MD. The contractor shall provide 4 hour, 24x7 HP hardware maintenance onsite support for IGNET SAIG configuration, IGNET TIGS configuration and IGNET COOP configuration on three sites. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate the required services with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(ii)(B). Performance period is for 9 months. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all capability statements received by 10:00 a.m., 30 Aug 2008. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government in future procurements. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
