Description
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Western Service Area is soliciting competitive proposals for a contractor to renovate and refurbish various areas of the San Jose California Air Route Traffic Control Tower (ARTC) Located in Santa Clara, California. The project includes refurbishing the complete water system at the ARTC by replacing all plumbing fixtures throughout the entire facility as well as replacing all hot water heating units, pressure tanks, pumps, water supply valves, water supply lines, and wastewater piping. The estimated dollar value for this contract is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00 A tiered evaluation of offers will be used in source selection for this contract, and offers from other-than small business concerns will only be considered after the determination that an insufficient number of offers from responsible small business concerns were received. See Section M-005 for details. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 238220 (Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning). For this NAICS code a small business is defined as a size standard with a maximum size standard of $13 million.
