- The Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Thales Australia Limited, Garden Island, Australia for the acquisition of two (2) each Turbine Shroud Advanced Acoustic Generators (AAG) and two (2) each Turban Shroud Infrasonic Advanced Acoustic Generators (IAAG). This requirement is not suitable for full and open competition for the following reasons: The AAG and IAAG are unique equipment that is only manufactured by Thales Australia and there are no distributors. The Request for Quote (RFQ) number is N61331-08-T-8022. The expected award date will be on or around 29 Aug 2008. The NAICS code is 334210 and the size standard is 500 employees. The resultant contract shall be a firm fixed price purchase order.
