- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Detention Center, Miami, Florida, intends to issue solicitations RFQ-31005-0072-8, RFQ-31005-0073-8, RFQ-31005-0074-8, RFQ-31005-0075-8 and RFQ-31005-0076-8, for the requirements of: Quarterly Subsistence. These solicitations are restricted to 100% Small Business, FOB Destination, delivery dates will begin October 1, 2008 ( with exact dates shown within the solicitation). Deliveries will be made to the Federal Detention Center - Miami, 33 N. E. 4TH Street, Miami, FL 33132. The contract type is a firm-fixed price. THE GOVERNMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT UPON AWARD TO MAKE FORMAL SINGLE OR MULTIPLE AWARDS. The Government will award to the responsible offeror(s) whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, that are considered to be most advantageous to the Government, with past performance and price considered, prices being rated higher than past performance. The solicitation will be made available on or about August 21, 2008, and will be posted to the GSA Federal Business Opportunities website: http://www.fbo.gov. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to insure they have the most up to date information concerning this solicitation. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is September 12, 2008. Payment will be made using Electronic Funds Transfer ( EFT ). Each offer is required per FAR 52.212-3 to complete their representations and certifications via the On-line Representations and Certifications Application ( ORCA ) at http://orca.bpn.gov.
