- The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) invites proposals from qualified firms to provide Computer Systems Specialist Customer Service Support. All the technical requirements are fully described in Part III of this RFP – Scope of Services. Funds are currently available for this procurement for the base period of one year. Additionally, it includes four one-year options subject to availability of funds. Proposers must note that WMATA intends to award this contract in October 2008, and we expect the selected Contractor would be able to start work immediately. This is a mandatory requirement. Your proposal must be received, as stated in the RFP, no later than 4:00PM on Monday, September 22, 2008, at WMATA, Office of Procurement and Materials, 600 Fifth Street, NW, Room 3C02, Washington, DC 20001-2651. Also note that if you have any questions, Technical or Contractual, please e-mail them to the Shehzad Rajpal at srajpal@wmata.com by no later than Close of Business, Monday, September 15, 2008. We will provide written answers, by e-mail, to all those who obtain a copy of this RFP and notify to the undersigned by an e-mail.
