- The purpose of this amendment is to answer the questions asked by vendors in regards to this solicitation and to reestablish a response date. All offers for this solicitation are due by 4:00 pm (Central time) 28 Aug 08. This is a reminder that fax offers will not be accepted. Listed below are the questions and answers for this solicitation. Could you provide the desired part numbers for this Solicitation? The Cisco 2940 and 2811 come in a number of models and we are not sure what is wanted. Also, are there a specific manufacturer and model number of satellite modem desired? On the CISCO 2940, is an "8 Ethernet 10/100 ports + 1 Ethernet 10/100/1000BASE-T Wall-mountable, standalone, managed switch". The CISCO 2811 is a "CISCO2811-HSEC/K9", which is a "Cisco 2811 security bundle with Cisco IOS advanced IP services, 64 MB Compact Flash/256 MB DRAM, and AIM-VPN-EPII-PLUS". The Cisco "NM-16ESW" is a "16 port 10/100 module", which is compatible for multiple CISCO devices. The DVB-RCS/S2 satellite modem S5100 is "the Advantech Satellite Networks SatNet S5100 VSAT terminal" or equivalent.
