- ***NOTICE THIS SYNOPSIS FOR REQUIREMENT IS BEING CANCELED. HOWEVER A NEW SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION WILL BE POSTED AT A LATER DATE UNDER A NEW SOLICITATION NUMBER. THE NEW SOLICITATION NUMBER IS FA8201-08-T-0039.*** The Hill Air Force Contracting Office is looking for interested and capable businesses for installation of residential soil vapor removal systems for Hill Air Force Base (HAFB), Utah. The contractor is to provide all labor, materials and equipment to complete installation of approximately fifteen (15) residential soil vapor removal systems for the mitigation of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) of concern. Sampling for VOCs will be completed by Hill Air Force Base (AFB), and the need for each system will be established prior to Contractor notification. Each system installation shall conform to the specifications that will be enclosed in the RFP. The Contractor shall also comply with all applicable federal, state and local regulations. Following system installation, Hill AFB will conduct sampling to determine that the system has adequately reduced detectable VOCs inside the residence.
