Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number F6TGAN8217AT01 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This request for Quote is due by 8 September 2008, 9:00am Pacific Time. The RFQ will result in a firm fixed price contract. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 611420. This acquisition is under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and Part 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items.. This requirement is for: SERVICES NON-PERSONAL: Furnish all labor, tools, equipment, material, transportation and supervision to: NETWORK CERTIFICATION CLASS AND SECURITY CERTIFICATION CLASS. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE IS 22 SEPTEMBER 2008 TO 21 SEPTEMBER 2009, WITH ONE CLASS TO TAKE PLACE NO LATER THAN 22 SEPTEMBER 2008. CLASS LOCATION MUST BE CONDUCTED WITHIN 10 MILES OF SPOKANE, WA. VENDOR WILL BE PAID QUARTERLY BASED UPON NUMBER OF STUDENTS PASSING VERTIFICATION TEST FOR THAT QUARTER. VENDOR MUST PROVIDE A THREE WEEK NOTIFICATION BEFORE THE START DATE OF ANY CLASS, WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE FIRST CLASS IN SEPTEMBER 2008. NUMBER OF STUDENTS WILL RANGE FROM 70 STUDENTS TO 81 TOTAL STUDENTS, FOR BOTH COURSES, DURING THE 12 MONTH PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE. 12 MAXIMUM STUDENTS PER CLASS THE COST OF THE CLASSES WILL INCLUDE THE COST OF AND THE PROCTORING OF THE EXAM. THE COST OF THE CLASSES WILL INCLUDE A GUARANTEE OF PASSING THE EXAM. REMINDER: ONE CLASS MUST TAKE PLACE PRIOR TO 22 SEPTEMBER 2008.
