- ****PLEASE CONTACT JANET APPLETON ONLY FOR QUESTIONS/INFORMATION CONCERNING THISNOTICE. CONTACT INFORMATION CAN BE FOUND IN THE BODY OF THIS SYNOPSIS.**********NASA/MSFC has a requirement for 2 types of BenADC/ERA printed circuit cards.NASA/MSFC intends to purchase these cards from Nallatech Corporation only on a solesource basis. Nallatech CorporationBenADC/ERA printed circuit cards are matching units which are currently being used inhouse at Marshall Space Flight Center in development for the HIRAD instrument. Compatibility is essential. Market research has found that these cards are proprietaryonly to Nallatech CorporationThe Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12.Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform theeffort in writing to Janet Appleton at janet.l.appleton@nasa.gov or faxed to 256-544-6560no later than 4:30 p.m. local time on 8/21/2008. Such capabilities/qualifications willbe evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct thisprocurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to competethis proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to thisnotice, is solely within the discretion of the government.Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency.An Ombudsman has been appointed.
