- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution, Tallahassee Florida intends to issue solicitationRFQ31402-038-8 for the requirement of: Quarterly Subsistance. The solicitation is restricted to 100% Small Business Set-a-side concerns, FOB Destination. Delivery dates will begin on October 1, 2008 through December 31, 2008 (Delivery schedules will be in the solicitation). Deliveries will be made to the Federal Correctional Institution, Warehouse, 501 Capital Circle, N.E., Tallahassee, Florida 32301. The contract type is firm-fixed price. The Government reserves the right to make a formal single award or multiple awards. The Government will award to the responsible offeror(s) whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, are considered to be most advantageous to the Government, past performance and prices considered, prices being rated higher than past performance. The solicitation will be made available on or about August 20, 2008, and will be distributed solely throught the General Services Administration Federal Business Opportunities web site at: http://www.fbo.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be made available. The site will provide downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about thisacquisition. Faith-based and Community-based Organizations have the right to submit offers/bids equally with other organizations for contracts which they are eligible. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is September 2, 2008. Payment will be made using Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). Each offeror is required by FAR 52.212-3 to complete their representations and certifications via On-line Representations and Certification (ORCA) at: http://www.orca.bpn.gov.
