Description: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This constitutes the only notification before award. Solicitation reference FA4819-08-T-0035 is issued as a request for quote, utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures in FAR Part 13. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-24. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 811198. This acquisition is unrestricted (not limited to small businesses). The Description of Items and clauses incorporated in this synopsis/solicitation are applicable to this procurement and will be incorporated into any resultant purchase order. Interested parties must include, with their quote, their CAGE code, tax identification number (TIN), and delivery date. Note: Interested parties submitting quotes must also include descriptive literature that will demonstrate functional and product equivalency to the aforementioned brand name items. Quotes may be mailed, faxed, or emailed. Email is the preferred method. Mail quotes to 325th Contracting Squadron/LGCB ATTB: SSgt Brandy Grandy, 501 Illinois Ave, Ste 5, Tyndall AFB, FL 32403-5526. Faxed quotes must be in accordance with FAR 52.214-31, Facsimile Bids (Dec 1989) to ATTN: SSgt Brandy Grandy at (850) 283-8619. Quotes submitted electronically should be sent to brandy.lynch@tyndall.af.mil. Questions regarding this RFQ should be directed to SSgt Brandy Grandy at (850) 283-8619. Quotes are due by 25 Aug 2008; NLT 12:00 pm Central Time. Award will be made to the responsible quoter offering the lowest overall price meeting the requirements of this combined synopsis/solicitation.
