- The following Q&A was received and answers are below. There was an error in the average number of 1099s forms It was NOT 1,200 but just under 12,000 records. We apologize for the error and are extending the close date for this RFP until Monday, August 18 at %:00pm est. NO FURTHER QUESTIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER THURSDAY, AUGUST 14 AT 5:00PM EST. How many 1099s were prepared for the calendar year 2007? · Tim we actually had 11,665 records (mailings) Has that changed materially? · This has not changed Will NSF Staff be responsible for validating all amounts reported on each 1099? · Yes With regard to number 6 “Vendor provided Address validation of 1099s” please describe the current validation requirements. · We currently use a off the shift software for address validation Please elaborate on number 17 of the statement of work: “encrypted security measures of on site access” · Because of the use of social security numbers, names, dollar amounts, security measure must be on site for NFS access to any internet sites, also the vendor will have to sign a nondisclosure statement under Federal Government guidelines for the protection of data. Does the Postage Report in number 14 (c) differ from the one in Item 22? · This is to notify us the cost of postage and the number of mailings Please provide fields to be included on the following reports: · Detail Disposition Report · IRS Reporting Standalone · Bypass Report · Account Merger Report · Postage Report 1. These are reports that they may have, each vendor may use different names dependant on their application, the vendor should provide a description and types of reports they will be sending NSF to validate thier record processing.
