Description

DISA/DITCO, intends to issue a sole source contract to EMC Corporation, 8444 Westpark Dr Suite 700, McLean, VA 22102-5102. This acquistion is for renewal of EMC Corporation Software Maintenance. The software being maintained is proprietary and protected by copyright laws. No third party maintenance is authorized. Period of performance is 01 Oct 2008 through 30 Sep 2009. The statutory authority for other than full and open cometition is 10 USC 2304( c)(1), only one responsible source and no other supplies or servcies will satisfy agency requirements. Companies who can provide the above listed sofware maintenance renewal must complete the solicitation, HC1013-08-T-0135 available at http://www.fbo.gov/. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price purchase order. The NAICS code is 541519 for this procurement. The justification detailing the government's essential need for EMC Corporation Software Maintenance is attached.
