- Description
- This notice is for Project No. 620-325, Expand OPC Building H-2 at the VA Hudson Valley Healthcare System - Castle Point Campus. This is a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside (SDVOSB). All SDVOSB's may submit a bid, which will be considered by the agency. If your firm is not legally designated as a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, you are not eligible to bid on Project No. 620-325. This procurement is classified under NAICS Code 236220 and has a size standard of $31.0 Million. The cost estimate range for this project is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. The work for this requirement consists of, but is not limited to: Contractor to furnish all materials, equipment, supervision, and personnel necessary to construct new second floor to the existing two story structural steel frame and masonry exterior wall building terraced within the existing hillside adding approximately 14,000 square foot of new outpatient clinic space. Project will include but not be limited to structural steel, concrete and masonry, architectural, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and HVAC as well as demolition of the existing roofing system, alterations of existing exhaust vents, ducts, plumbing, and miscellaneous other utilities penetrating the existing roof and within the first floor nursing home unit. Fire alarm and fire sprinkler system construction and tie into existing building systems are to be included. Overall construction will allow the addition of a third floor in the future. Construction duration is 550 days. All other details and information shall be contained in the solicitation which shall be posted on www.fedbizopps.gov the solicitation will be released on or around August 13, 2008. The bid submittal address, date and time will be included in the solicitation. This project requires an offer guarantee and all bid submissions must be in hardcopies; faxed or e-mailed bids will not be accepted. Award subject to the availability of funds. All bidders must be registered in www.ccr.gov, www.vetbiz.gov, and https://orca.bpn.gov.
