- DEPARTMENT OF THE ARMY UNITED STATES ARMY MEDICAL COMMAND HEALTH CARE ACQUISITION ACTIVITY SOUTHEAST REGIONAL CONTRACTING OFFICE BUILDING 39706, 40TH STREET FORT GORDON, GA 30905-5650 I.INTRODUCTION. A.This is a synopsis for commercial services prepared in accordance with FAR 5.2. Synopsis of Proposed Contract Actions. This announcement constitutes the synopsis only and a solicitation will be issued. B.The synopsis number is W91YTV-08-R-0020. This acquisition is unrestricted. C.The NAICS code applicable to this acquisition is 621111, Offices of Physicians and 621399, Offices of All Other Health Practitioners D.This acquisition is unrated under the Defense Priorities and Allocations System. II.GENERAL. A.The Southeast Regional Contracting Office at Fort Gordon, Georgia, has a requirement for a Physician Assistant (1), Licensed Practical Nurse (1), Psychiatrist (1), Nurse Case Manager (1), Medical Clerk Claims (1), Psychologist (1), Family Practice Physician (2), Medical Liaison (1), Medical Clerk (1), Physical Therapist (1), Social Worker (1), Substance Abuse Coordinator (1), X-Ray Technician (1), Nurse Assistant (1), and a Medical Technologist (1). All are fulltime positions in support of the Department of the Armys Global War on Terrorism (GWOT). B.The positions will be located at Rodriguez Army Health Clinic, Fort Buchanan, Puerto Rico. C.This will be a firm-fixed priced contract with a base year beginning October 1, 2008 and ending September 30, 2009 (no option years). D.The anticipated release date of the solicitation is August 13, 2008. E.Offerors will have 15 days from the release date of the solicitation to submit proposals.
