- Description
- The U.S. Geological Survey, Central Region, Geographic Information Office, NSDI PO (Arkansas) located at 401 Hardin Road, Little Rock, AR 72211-3528 has a requirement to create a standardized statewide transportation centerline dataset. The project will complete the remaining 5 counties out of 70 in order to produce a statewide centerline dataset. The project deliverable will be a standardized statewide transportation centerline dataset that contains road networks, road name, address range information, and various other elements to enable address matching and geocoding. This USGS project will leverage the Arkansas State Land Information Board (ASLIB), #1 Capitol Mall, 3B-201, Little Rock, AR 72201 existing contract award. The U.S.G.S. will receive dataset for 75 counties (state of Arkansas) for which the U.S.G.S. will pay 10% of the total contract which is 1M. The U.S. Geological Survey considers this specified requirement as a sole source to the Arkansas State Land Information Board. Other interested concerns having the ability to furnish these services may submit a capabilities statement to the contracting officer USGS, PO Box 25046 Denver Federal Center, Denver, CO 80225-0046 Attn: Gail Walker no later than the closing date of this requirement (08/15/08) 3:00 PM MST. All submissions shall be evaluated to determine if competitive opportunities exist; if no submissions are received by the above appointed time, the Government shall proceed with noncompetitive award without further notice. This is NOT a Request for Proposal (RFP); the Government does not anticipate issuing a written solicitation. This notice represents the Government's only offical notice of this procurement.
