- The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) intends to award a sole source purchase order to the Local Government Commission (LGC) for a Co-Sponsorship to support the 8th Annual New Partners for Smart Growth Conference: Building Safe, Healthy and Livable Communities. The conference will facilitate educational and networking opportunities for partners to work together for smart growth. LGC will coordinate, provide their own facilitators, as well coordinate the logistical aspects of the conference. LGC is the only known source who has the expertise and history to promote the benefits/products of the FHWA’s efforts in transportation/land use and coordination. All responsible sources may submit a response identifying their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one course under the authority of FAR 6.302. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This is a Simplified Acquisition and the total estimated value is not to exceed $15,000.00
