Description: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation, F9J3CF8220A002 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-27. The NAICS code for this solicitation is 334220. The size standard for a small business under this NAICS code is one that is equal to or less than 750 employees. This Request for Quotation is being submitted as an unrestricted solicitation and open to large and small businesses. Interested vendor's quotes shall be brand name or "Equal To" product. If proposing an "Equal To" product, the vendor must submit their technical capabilities and specifications. The Government will consider and review the capabilities and specifications to ensure it meets the Air Force standards in frequency infrastructure and compatibility to existing Motorola radios and software currently in use. Please see attachment for the Government's requirement. All quotes shall be FOB destination. Best Value-Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this solicitation. FAR provision 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items, is also applicable.
