- DESC: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, Office of Acquisitions, 6432 General Green Way, Alexandria, VA 22312 intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The award will be a total small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 423210. The size standard is 100 employees. The product specifications are as follows: The ergonomic desk (workstation) shall be a type where the work surface can be raised up to 44 inches in height. The desk shall be a wrap around design, with a total foot print area of 75 to 74 inches, by 48 to 50 inches deep. The desk shall be a type that can be adjusted to a sit-to-stand position with electric motors that are capable of lifting between 350 to 400 pounds, with the desk fully loaded, and have a minimum of three programmable height settings. The desk shall contain a keyboard surface of between 40 to 42 inches by 18 to 19 inches deep, with an instantaneous height adjustment capable of adjusting between 5 to 6 inches below, to 7 to 8 inches above the monitor work surface, with at least 15 degrees of positive and negative tilt angle. The desk shall also contain built-in wire management, with levelers, to include 5 to 7 grommets for wire access. Proposal Acceptability: Proposals will be accepted through August 29, 2008, 4:00 pm (ET), with no exception. Delivery Information: Delivery will be to: Ms, Hope Hall Augustini, 100 F, Street N.W, Washington, DC 20559. Note: Please call Ms. Augustini 24 hours before delivery at 202-551-5101. Proposal Evaluation: Best value to the Government will be used to evaluate proposals; considering price, technical acceptability, delivery and price in meeting the above requirements. Technical acceptability, price, and delivery will be evaluated equally considering best value to the Government. In accordance with FAR 12.603, Streamlined Procedures for commercial Items the following provisions shall apply to this acquisition: 52.212-1, Instructions to Offeror’s-Commercial Items. 52.212-2, Evaluation of Commercial Items. 52.212-3, Offeror’s Representations and Certifications- Commercial Items. Note: Offeror’s must present this certification with their offer. 52.212-4, Commercial Terms and Conditions–Commercial Items and 52.215-5, Commercial Terms and Conditions required to implement Statutes or Executive or Executive Orders –Commercial Items. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular, FAC 90-32, FR 48206 9/18/95, effective 10/1/95. Contractors interested in this requirement should submit a complete proposal that provides clear and convincing evidence that they can meet the Government’s requirement. This evidence can be in the form of a company product brochure; or company catalog page detailing the requirement specification and price, or a detailed web site where to obtain this information. Unit price, extended price and delivery information for the Ergonomic desk shall be in the offeror’s proposal. The Government will consider all responses received by the publication due date of this notice. Responses must be received on or before August 29, 2009, 4 pm (ET).
