- General Services Administration (GSA), Public Buildings Service (PBS), Contracting and Facilities Division (PGE), intends to procure on an other than open competitive basis, an annual subscription to the International Facility Management Asociiation (IFMA), Houston, TX. IFMA is the largest and most widely recognized professional association for facility management, supporting 18,500 members. The annual subscription will be procured under the authority of FAR 41.USC 253(c)(1) Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. IFMA has the only membership program available that will meet the needs of the GSA. The Government intends to award a firm fixed price Purchase Order for the annual subscription on or about Sep 20, 2008 for the annual subscription, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This notice of intent is not considered a Request for Quotation (RFQ) nor is it a Request for Proposals (RFP). No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will consider all responses received by 12:00PM EST, Thursday, August 25, 2008. Information received will be considered solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Inquiries only accepted by E-Mail or FAX.
