- Description
- The Social Security Administration requires contractor services to provide all management, supervision, labor, materials, tools and equipment to remove the existing 32 Square-D AS POWERLINK lighting control panels and install 32 new contractor provided Square-D POWERLINK NF1000G3 lighting control panels to include new enclosure doors and covers at the Harold Washington Social Security Center (HWSSC), 600 West Madison Street, in Chicago, IL 60661. Work shall be accomplished on floors 3 through 10 of the HWSSC (4 panels per floor, 1 each on the North, South, East and West sides of the building). Work shall include programming of the new lighting panels and tying into the existing lighting manual override and the building Johnson Controls system. A site visit is scheduled for Thursday, August 21, 2008, at 10:00 AM CDT at the Harold Washington Social Security Center. Contractor will be responsible for removing and disposing off-site of the existing lighting panels. Solicitation package SSA-RFQ-05-08-0023 will be available for downloading from the FedBizOpps website (http://www.fbo.gov) on August 14, 2008. All offers must be received by the Government no later than 3:00 PM CDT on Friday, September 5, 2008. Hardcopy solicitation packages will not be available. Telephone, fax, or email requests for hardcopies of the solicitation package will not be accepted. Offers will be accepted from all responsible offerors. This requirement is a total small business set-aside. Offers received from concerns that are not small businesses will be rejected.
