- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to award a non-competitive, sole source firm-fixed price contract to Flexible Material Handling, 151 Walker Road, Statesville, NC 28625. The FBI has a need for racks and decks that will augment existing equipment in the FBI warehouse to include the following: 1) 750 Nestainer storage racks. Racks have one-piece all welded construction, 53"w x 48"d x 64"h inside useable dimension, deck designed for four-way entry of rack, accommodates all types of pallets, 2,000 pound capacity per unit, units capable of stacking 3 high, self guided stacking with inverted angle, front-end nesting of empty units. 2) 375 Nestainer Deck "C". Decks have one-piece all welded construction with 53" x 48" useable dimensions, can be picked up from any side, 2,000 pound capacity per unit. 3) Shipping costs for all items to Cheverly, MD 20871. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. All proposals received within 15 days after date of issuance of this synopsis will be determined by the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is received as a result of a notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All responses must be sent to the attention of Nancy Beck at nancy.beck@ic.fbi.gov by 1:00 PM EST 28 August 2008.
