- This notice is to announce that this NSN will be solicited in the near future. This is not a Soliciation/Request for Proposal. The Soliciation/Request for Proposal will be forth coming and will be available via the DSCC Website address (URL) is http://dibbs.dscc.dla.mil/rfp/. The response date referenced above is estimated. Solicitation Issue date is on or about 08/14/08, with the Response date on or around 08/28/08. Note: Copies of this solicitation will only be available via the World Wide Web. Hard copies of this solicitation are not available. Reference number: IQC08219009015. NSN: 5905-00-005-2902. Nomenclature: Resistor, Fixed Film. Only acceptable sources are those currently listed on Qualified Products List (QPL). Approved QPL Mil-Spec part number: RNC55H3012FS An Indefinite Delivery Purchase Order (IDPO) for 365 days basic contract with four 365 day option periods is anticipated. Estimated annual demand quantity is 36 each. Item Description: RESISTOR,FIXED, FILM THE USE OF ANY CLASS I OZONE-DEPLETING SUBSTANCE (ODS) IN THE DESIGN, MANUFACTURING, TESTING, CLEANING, OR ANY OTHER PROCESS FOR THIS ITEM UNDER ANY MILITARY OR FEDERAL SPECIFICATION, STANDARD OR DRAWING REFERENCED IN THIS ITEM DESCRIPTION IS "PROHIBITED" UNLESS THE SEPARATE WRITTEN APPROVAL OF THE CONTRACTING OFFICER IS OBTAINED. THIS PROHIBITION SUPERSEDES ALL SPECIFICATION REQUIREMENTS BUT DOES NOT ALLEVIATE ANY PRODUCT PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS. THIS DOES NOT APPLY TO COMMERCIAL ITEMS, AS DEFINED IN "FAR 11.001" OR TO PART-NUMBERED- ONLY ITEMS. FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION APPLIES. CRITICAL APPLICATION ITEM I/A/W SPEC NR MIL-PRF-55182/1P BASIC AMEND NR P TYPE NUMBER RNC55H3012FS Various incremental quantities will be solicited. Deliveries will be to various DLA customers and/or stocking locations. While price is a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
