- NSN: 4240-01-217-0046 will be solicited on an unrestricted basis with a required delivery of 180 days. This NSN is a commercial item, therefore the requirements will be solicited with commercial clauses and the contract resulting from this solicitation will be a Fixed Price with EPA. This NSN is a Critical Safety Item with First Article Test requirements and Product Verification Testing. Delivery shall be made only as authorized orders issued in accordance with clause FAR 52.216-8 ORDERING (OCT 1995). The performance period of the resulting contract will potentially be five (5) years: a one (1) year base period and four (4) one year options. The procedures for evaluating the proposals received will be Low Price Technically Acceptable and the basis for technical acceptability is a vendor not taking any exceptions to Avox Systems Incorporated (53655) part number 802300-14. Numbered Note 12 (Trade Agreement Act) applies to this solicitation (DFARS 252.225-7021). Copies of the solicitation will be available no sooner than August 15, 2008.
