Description
This RFQ is issued in accordance with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Acquisition Management System (AMS), Section 3.2.2.5. The FAA has a requirement for the acquisition of Airport Resource Management Tool (ARMT) equipment racks and components. Desired Delivery Schedule:ARMT equipment is to be delivered within 45 days after receipt of order. If this delivery schedule cannot be met, the vendor should provide an alternate delivery schedule to ensure all units are received by the FAA no later than 90 days after receipt of order. Delivery Point:Scientific Consulting & Automated Technological Services, INC (SCATS)5639 Gunner Run RoadChurchton, Maryland 20733ATTN: Brian Schell This procurement is set-aside for competition among Socially Economically Disadvantaged Businesses (SEDB) that are expressly certified by the Small Business Administration (SBA) to participate in the SBA's 8(a) Program. For SEDB(8(a)) firms interested in competing for this requirement, the following Principal North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) applies to this requirement: 334119 Other Computer Peripheral Equipment Manufacturing, with a size standard in number of employees of 1000. Respondents to this RFQ are encouraged to submit their quotes via e-mail to curtis.fields@faa.gov no later than 3PM on August 21, 2008. A copy of your 8A Certification Letter should accompany attachment B. If you are not currently registered you should complete attachment C and submit it as well The FAA anticipates issuing a purchase order for this requirement on or before September 5, 2008.
