- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This announcement constitutes the request for quote for the required items under Solicitation Number W911WN-08-T-0018. NAICS Code 333995, Small Business Standard: 500 employees. A subsequent solicitation document will NOT be issued. The US Army Corps of Engineers, Pittsburgh District, intends to issue a contract for the manufacture and supply of one (1) 110' miter gate cylinder delivered to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This will be a firm-fixed price award, Total Small Business Set Aside, with award made to the lowest technically acceptable quoter. The following FAR provisions and clauses apply to this solicitation and are incorporated by reference: The following provisions apply to this solicitation: 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial; 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items (award will be based on price and date bidder proposes to begin work); 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items; 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items; 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items, [including paragraphs (b) 5, 19, 24, 28, and 30 and (c) 1]; At a minimum quoters should provide a price proposal on letterhead, remittance address, tax ID #, and DUNS #.Quotes should reference Solicitation #W911WN-08-T-0018.
