- Description
- Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Puget Sound (FISCPS)is soliciting for inpatient medical coding and coding training services in accordance with specifications to be provided in the solicitation. Services will be for a base year and two 1-year options.The medical coding services will be performed onsite at the Naval Hospital in Okinawa, Japan. Medical coding training will be performed at the Okinawa Naval Hospital and Branch Medical Clinics to be given in the solicitation. Destination information is determined to be FOB Destination.The solicitation will be issued as a commercial acquisition under FAR parts 12 and 13.5.The period of performance will be for a 12 month period beginning on or about October 1, 2008, or a mutually agreed upon time after contract award.All offerors are put on notice that in accordance with FAR 5.203(h), the solicitation will have less than a 30-day response time.Written requests may be emailed to Margeaux.bruce@navy.mil. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by FISCPS. This solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the NECO website: https://www.neco.navy.mil. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and for frequently monitoring that site for any amendments. The Government is not responsible for any inability of the offeror to access the posted documents. No telephone or fax requests will be accepted, and no hard-copy solicitation/amendment will be mailed or faxed.Electronic submission of proposals/quotes is not available at this time.
