- Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Puget Sound in support of Puget Sound Naval Shipyard has a requirement to procure Level 1 Journal Sleeves. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be posted to the NECO website on or about 28 August 2008 with proposals due by 2 P.M. 27 September 2008. A firm fixed price indefinite delivery indefinite quantity type contract with one base year and two option years is anticipated. Sleeves shall be in accordance with Navy drawings, copper-nickel alloy castings, ASTM B-369-96, UNS alloy C96400, centrifugal casting required. Certification of chemical and physical properties for level 1 material, weldability certification, liquid penetrant inspection & radiography test report required. Inspection at source/acceptance at destination. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by FISCPS. This solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the NECO website: https://www.neco.navy.mil. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and for frequently monitoring that site for any amendments. The Government is not responsible for any inability of the offeror to access the posted documents. No telephone or FAX requests will be accepted, and no hard-copy solicitation/amendment will be mailed or FAXed. Electronic submission of proposals is not available at this time.
