Description
It is the intent of this contract to obtain Industrial Building Construction Services for all areas of responsibility (AOR) covered by PWD Maine (ME, NH, MA, RI, CT, VT, NY) by means of an indefinite quantity job order contract (JOC) effective for a base period of one year. The contract also includes four one-year options to be exercised at the discretion of the Contracting Officer. Work will be ordered via individual task orders on a DD Form 1155. The total value of the task orders awarded under this contract shall not exceed $30,000,000.00. The guaranteed minimum is $10,000.00 for the life of the contract including any options exercised. As work to be performed is identified, the Contractor will receive a written request for proposal which may be accompanied by specifications and drawings and/or sketches and the applicable Davis Bacon Wage Determination, utilities permit applications and asbestos and lead reports from the Contracting Officer. The Request for Proposal (RFP) will include a date and point of contact for the site visit. During the site visit, the Contractor and the Government will review the work requirement and any changes will be addressed by amendment. After the site visit, the Contractor will prepare a proposal and submit it to the Contracting Officer who will review it and negotiate with the Contractor as required. Typically, the Contractor shallsolicit a minimum of at least three independent, qualified and complete bids (including line item breakouts) from potential subcontractors.
