- Description
- On or about 01 September 2008, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) will release competitive Request for Proposal (RFP) 09WRSS0004, in accordance with (IAW) the procedures of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, to establish an indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract with a single supplier of IP/digital telephone systems for USGS offices throughout the nation. Requirements will include Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP) capable telephone systems, station equipment, training, installation, technical support, and selected IP telephony (IPT) applications. The contract will have an ordering ceiling not-to-exceed $3,000,000.00 during the ordering period of three (3) years. The RFP will be unrestricted (full and open competition) under NAICS code 334210, entitled "Telephone Apparatus Manufacturing," for which the size standard is 1,000 employees. A detailed statement of requirements/specifications and source selection criteria will be released with the RFP. Offerors are advised that the USGS intends to hold a preproposal conference (date and location to be announced) and may request oral presentations in accordance with FAR 15.102 to assist in source selection.
