- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This procurement is not a small business set-aside; any responsible source may submit an offer. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number M67400-08-T-0227 applies and is issued as a Request For quote. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-23 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-13. The North American Industry Classification System code is 423990. The agency need is for: CLIN: 0001, Quantity: 50, Unit of Issue: Each, (BRAND NAME ONLY), HALON 1211 FLIGHT LINE EXTINGUISHER(150LB): MFR: AMEREX, PART NUMBER: 600K. Item Description: Chrome-plated brass operating valve. 200psi operating pressure. Heavy-duty steel cylinder, carriage, and hose hanger assembly Quick release, 50 ft. discharge hose with chrome-plated brass, ball-type shutoff nozzle. Pressure gauge protected by a stainless-steel gauge guard. Corrosion resistant. CLIN: 0002, Quantity: 1, Unit of Issue: Each, SHIPPING CHARGE. Expected delivery date to the end-user, Bldg 628, H&HS, MCAS Futenma, Ginowan city, Okinawa, Japan is 30 September 2008.All offers shall be in English language. Stateside delivery and overseas delivery is acceptable. Delivery point from local offers is to Bldg 628, H&HS, MCAS Futenma, Ginowan city, Okinawa, Japan. Delivery point from offers within CONUS is to Defense Logistics Agency, Defense Distribution Depot San Joaquin, Tracy Depot, Bldg. 30 CCP, 25600 Chrisman Road, Tracy, CA 95376. All services/material awarded under this contract are expected to be delivered 14 days after the award. The Government intends to make a single award to the responsible offer of whose offer is most advantageous to the government considering price and price-related factors.
