Description

The above referenced solicitation is being amended to answer technical questions: 1. Question: What area is to be covered, and are you looking for spatial resolution of any kind? Answer: We need to measure the ion energy at the center of the electrode. There is no need for spatial resolution (i.e., no need to measure at any other positions.) 2. Question: Is NorCal a manufacturer? Answer: NorCal certainly is a manufacturer. The complete name of the apparatus is the Gaseous Electronics Conference Radio-Frequency Reference Cell. (It is also known as the GEC RF Reference Cell or simply the GEC Cell.) It was designed by a committee of scientists from the Gaseous Electronics Conference to serve as a standardized platform for plasma research. There are more than 30 copies of the cell that have been built and are in use by scientists across the US and around the world.
