- This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under the test program for commercial items found at FAR 13.5, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. This combined synopsis/solicitation SHALL be posted on both FEDBIZOPPS and NECO (http://www.neco.navy.mil/). The RFQ number is N00244-08-T-0609. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2005-26 and DFARS Change Notice 20080722. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. This is a competitive, unrestricted action.The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC) Regional Contracts Department, San Diego, Port Hueneme, CA site (for the Naval Facilities Expeditionary Logistics Command (NFELC), Port Hueneme, CA) requests responses from qualified sources capable of providing: CLIN 0001 24V Trim Tab kit (kit contains trim tabs, S.S. hydraulic lines, 24 volt power units, etc., for the hull of small boats, P/N TT-HP750-NAV-24-3030. 34 kits. CLIN 0002 Freight to Imperial Beach, CA 91932. CLIN 0003 Freight to Portsmouth, VA 23709. Delivery is required by 17 DEC 2008; Delivery Location(s) are 17 kits to Imperial Beach, CA 91932, and 17 kits to Portsmouth, VA 23709 FOB: Destination applies. (Full delivery addresses will be provided at time of award). Responsibility and Inspection: the supplier is responsible for the performance of all inspection requirements and quality control. No Exemption Certification is required. Warranty. The Contracting Officers Standard Warranty IS required. The warranty period shall be not less than 12 months for FOB destination shipments and 15 months for FOB origin shipments, to begin upon the date of acceptance as shown on the DD Form 250 or proof of shipping. Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Quoters must be registered in the CCR database to be considered for award. Registration is free and can be completed on-line at http://www.ccr.gov/ All quotes shall include price(s), FOB point, a point of contact, name and phone number, GSA contract number if applicable, business size, and payment terms. Quotes should be e-mailed to the Contracting Officer: Jessica.montes@navy.mil. Facsimile quotes are not allowed. Quotes submitted via NECO Website will be ignored. Each response must clearly indicate the capability of the quoter to meet all specifications and requirements. This announcement will close at 3:00 p.m. (PST) on 25 AUG 2008. While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award will be based on a combination of price and technical acceptability.
